Is it nice? Do you recommend it? Any tips or recommendations on the room type. I see that prices range from $100-$225/night. Is it worth getting a crater view room? Any other thoughts?

Planning a trip to Hawaii, I know hotels are expensive but if there are some cheaper ones I would really love to know where they are so I can plan out and budget.

Next summer I will be going on vacation to either Boracay Beach,Phillippines or Oahu, Hawaii with my friend (we will both be 18 in a few months). I haven’t decided yet. But Boracay Beach has hotels that are much cheaper. On the other hand the ones in hawaii (that i looked at online) are much more expensive. But really really want to go to Hawaii more though.
