Hawaii is also travel as a tourist destination and every year tourists from all over the known world to the gorgeous beaches, sunbathe, enjoy the magnificent view of the sea and Observa exotic flora and fauna on the islands. This island state has many advantages as a tourist attraction, including miles of beautiful coastline, a pleasant tropical climate and some of the most beautiful scenery in the world. But besides all these features Hawaii’s rich cultural heritage that is unique to this island chain. And while most tourists are on holiday, some aspects of Hawaiian culture exposed to during their stays, many people who travel for the Miss Hawaii on a true understanding of the cultural background of Hawaii. There is more to Hawaiian culture, that the forms of clothing and traditional dances, which are on display at popular tourist destinations. Learning about the cultural traditions of Hawaii, you can use your vacation experience more interesting and rewarding.
It is believed that the Polynesians in Hawaii was settled about 1500 years ago. Confirm the date of the first settlement in Hawaii is very difficult, but since there are no documents from this period written on the islands. Instead of a written history, the culture of Hawaii has a long oral tradition that its language, art and other forms of cultural expression preserved. Cultural history of Hawaii has been passed on from generation to generation, with the elders teach younger generations about their past.
Over time, many aspects of Hawaiian culture have changed, the system of government. Although now part of the United States, Hawaii was originally a kingdom. But the importance of the traditional chiefs of Hawaii is still celebrated. For example, when a statue of King Kamehamea, the largest of the rulers of Hawaii, located on the Big Iceland. Also on the Big Iceland is Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, a place of great cultural and geological significance. The name refers to the two volcanoes park that is located there, Kilauea and Mauna Loa. According to tradition, Kilauea is the home of the goddess Pele, which eruptions of the volcano. Kilauea has been active since 1983, and the cultural significance of Kilauea is reasonable that were the islands of Hawaii, originally formed by volcanic activity.
Since traditions are an important feature of the culture of Hawaii, there are individuals and organizations to prevent the fading of these traditions or to forget. Each spring is used, the Merrie Monarch Festival as a forum for the presentation and promotion of the traditional Hawaiian art forms, especially music and traditional dances. Although it is a big attraction for visitors, this festival is not just a production-oriented tourists. Instead, the festival is part of the Hawaiian Renaissance, an effort to keep alive the traditions of Hawaii. If you plan to visit for a vacation to Hawaii, keep in mind that the visit can be much richer and more alive, if you have the time to the cultural heritage of the islands before they know to take.

Has anyone stayed at Volcano House at Volcanoes National Park in Hawaii?

Is it nice? Do you recommend it? Any tips or recommendations on the room type. I see that prices range from $100-$225/night. Is it worth getting a crater view room? Any other thoughts?

Where should I stay to see Volcanoes Ntl Park in Hawaii?

I want to spend about 2 days exploring the park. Is it better to stay in the cheap cabin at volcano house (with no TV our outlets) or to stay in Hilo or something and drive out and back each day? Any hotel recommendations? I want to see lava flowing at night.
