Intersection of Keahole Airport Road and the Queen Kaahumanu Highway, Kona, Hawaii

The entrance and exit to Kona International Airport is located just off of the the Queen Kaahumanu Highway (S.R. 19) in Kona, Hawaii. After some last moment deliberation, I elected to turn north towards the Kohala Coast rather than south towards Kailua-Kona.

Trying to twist a little bit the classic sunset view everyone expects from Hawaii, with Palm trees and nice colours, but with more dramatic skies.
I find this one works fine as a wallpaper for the computer.
