Explore the Kilauea Volcano of Hawaii

Volcanic eruptions are increasingly rare. This is because only very few active volcanoes still exist. In fact, according to the Global Volcanism Program, only 50-70 volcanoes erupt each year worldwide. This means, able to witness an active volcano – especially one that breaks out often – can be a once-in-a-to experience life. For those lucky enough to visit Big Iceland from Hawaii, you can get to one of the few to see this amazing site.
On the Big Iceland in Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, see Kilauea, have announced the most active volcano in the world. Although documented through chants and songs in ancient Hawaiian history, is the first record of Kilauea, the missionary Rev. William Ellis, saw the summit in 1823. The bright colors orange, red and yellow to the floating smoke rising churn every time lava flows into the sea bottom. Much more visible at night, is showing a very Kilauea and always a highlight of any cruise.
