How long does it take to send a package from Kona, Hawaii to California?

I am going on vacation and want to send a package back to a Japanese exchange student as a gift. I arrive to Hawaii late Monday night(7/27) and leave late at night on 8/10(she leaves back to Japan this same day).
How long will it take a package to get there NOT by priority mail.
How long with priority?
Please respond quickly with answers as accurate as possible.

Regular Mail…4-6 days.
I sent a 4 lb. package from Hanalei, Kauai to Central California last Tuesday, regular mail, it was received yesterday (Saturday) it took 5 days.

regular mail, 1 week , give or take 2 days. for priority mail, it will take about 2 to 3 days
